Bluenod SAS provides the service “Bluenod”. This Privacy Policy applies to all Services offered by Bluenod.

1. INFORMATION WE COLLECT AND HOW WE USE IT

In order to provide our full range of Services, we collect the following types of information:

Information you provide – When you sign up for a Bluenod account, we ask you for personal information (such as your Twitter account, name, email address, an account password), which we maintain in encrypted form on secure servers.

Log information – When you access the Services, our servers automatically record information that your browser sends whenever you visit a website. These server logs may include information such as your web request, Internet Protocol address, browser type, browser language, the date and time of your request and one or more cookies that may uniquely identify your browser.

User communications – When you send email or other communications to or through Bluenod, we may retain those communications in order to process your inquiries, respond to your requests and improve our Services.

Links – Bluenod may present links in a format that enables us to keep track of whether these links have been followed. We use this information to improve the quality of our visualization technology and customized content.

Other sites – This Privacy Policy applies to Bluenod Services only. We do not exercise control over the sites displayed as search results or the links from within our Services. These other sites may place their own cookies or other files on your computer, collect data or solicit personal information from you.

Bluenod only processes personal information for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy. In addition to the above, such purposes include:

- Providing our Services, including display of customized content;

- Protecting the rights or property of Bluenod or our users;

We may internally perform statistical and other analysis on information we collect (technical and meta data) to analyze and measure user behavior and trends, to understand how people use our services, in order to. Improve and optimize our performance of such services, and to monitor, troubleshoot and improve our services, including to help us evaluate or devise new features.

We may use your information for internal purposes designed to keep our services secure and operational, such as testing purposes, troubleshooting, to prevent abusive activity (i.e. fraud, spam, phishing activities), and for service improvement, research and development purposes.

Third parties - As described in the Terms of Use, if you connect your Bluenod Account with your account on a Social Media or third party platform, we may use the information that you make available through the applicable Social Media or third party platform and that the applicable Social Media or third party platform has made available to Bluenod, in accordance with the privacy or other settings that are applicable to your Social Media or third party platform account.

Communication - We’ll be sending you Bluenod product intro, tips and inspirational use cases and user stories by any means, including email and similar means of electronic communication like personalised advertisements as part of providing relevant content helpful to use our services effectively. In order to customize such information and commercial communications as much as possible, Bluenod may use statistical techniques and tools that allow the creation of user profiles and data segmentation. You can unsubscribe from these communication by following the provided “unsubscribe” or “opout” links.

Information transfer - We do not sell your Bluenod data to third parties without your permission. We share your information with our service providers who help us to provide our services to you, in which case those third parties are required to comply with our privacy policy and any other adequate technical and organizational measures. We only choose service providers how use you information only for the purpose of providing their services and pursuant to the applicable privacy legislation in the EU.

Bluenod is based in the EU and complies with the GDPR framework as set forth by the EU regarding the collection, use, and retention of personal data from EU member countries. If you are located outside the EU and choose to use the Service or provide your information to us, please note that your information may be transferred, processed and stored by our service providers in other non-EU countries. Privacy laws of the European Union and third countries may not be as protective as those in your jurisdiction. Your agreement to the terms of this Privacy Policy followed by your submission of information in connection with the Service represents your agreement to this practice. If you do not want your information transferred to or processed or stored in the EU or in the United States, you should not use the Service.If you are located in the EU, we guarantee that we will only transfer your data to companies that are registered with the Privacy Shield, to ensure a level of data protection compliant with the GDPR.

Your data is not disclosed to any third party except (i) for providing the services you requested and for which Bluenod collaborates with third parties, (ii) when we have your permission, (iii) when it is required by a competent authority in the exercise of its duties (for example in order to investigate, prevent or take action regarding illegal activities) or (iv) as otherwise required by law.

We do not use your Bluenod data other than as described in this Privacy Policy and the Terms of Use.

4. INFORMATION SECURITY

We take appropriate security measures to protect against unauthorized access to or unauthorized alteration, disclosure or destruction of data.

We restrict access to personal information to Bluenod employees, contractors and agents who need to know this information in order to operate, develop or improve our services. These individuals are also bound by confidentiality obligations.

Bluenod processes personal information only for the purposes for which it was collected and in accordance with this Privacy Policy. We review our data collection, storage and processing practices to ensure that we only collect, store and process the personal information needed to provide or improve our services or as otherwise permitted under this Policy.

6. ACCESSING AND UPDATING PERSONAL INFORMATION

When you use Bluenod, we make good faith efforts to provide you with access to your personal information and either to correct this data if it is inaccurate or to delete such data at any time, if it is not otherwise required to be retained by law or for legitimate business purposes.

You have the right to access, rectification, opposition, erasure (“right to be forgotten”), and right to restriction of processing of your personal data by directing any such requests to contact@bluenod.com or to our physical address.

7. CHANGES TO THIS PRIVACY POLICY

Bluenod reserves the right to change this Privacy Policy at any time. Updated versions of the Privacy Policy will be made available on or through the Services and will have immediate effect. Continued use of the Services after any such changes constitutes your consent to such changes.
